Plans and billing

PortLark starts with a free trial and continues with a paid monthly plan. Current prices and limits are listed on https://portlark.com/pricing.

Free trial

  • 30 days with one tunnel. No credit card required.
  • The trial starts when you activate it under Dashboard → Your access or when you create your first tunnel, whichever comes first.
  • Deleting and recreating a tunnel does not restart the trial.
  • Nothing is charged when the trial ends. The trial never turns into a paid subscription by itself. Your tunnels stop accepting connections until you choose a plan.

PortLark offers monthly plans, currently Starter and Pro, which differ in the number of tunnels you can use at the same time. See https://portlark.com/pricing for current prices.

To subscribe:

  1. Open Dashboard → Plans and billing and choose a plan.
  2. Pay in Stripe Checkout. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.
  3. Your plan is active as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds.

Payments are processed by Stripe. PortLark does not see or store your full card details.

Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically every month and are charged to your saved payment method until you cancel. The next renewal date is shown in Plans and billing.

If a renewal payment fails, update your payment method in the billing portal. Access continues only for periods that have been paid.

Manage or cancel your subscription

In Dashboard → Plans and billing, open the Stripe billing portal to:

  • update your payment method,
  • view and download invoices,
  • cancel your subscription.

When you cancel, the subscription does not renew and you are not charged again. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Uninstalling the client, deleting your tunnels or not using the service does not cancel a subscription. Self-service plan changes are not available yet; to switch between plans, contact support@portlark.com.

When access ends

When your trial or paid period ends:

  • your tunnels stop accepting new connections and connected clients are disconnected;
  • your tunnels and subdomains are kept for a short retention period, so subscribing again soon restores them;
  • after the retention period, the subdomains may be released and become available to others.

If your plan allows fewer tunnels than you have, your oldest tunnels stay active and the others are suspended. Delete tunnels you no longer need, or choose a larger plan.

TCP access

TCP tunnels require separate approval and are not included automatically in any plan. See Approved TCP access.

Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in the Terms of Service. To request one, email support@portlark.com from your account address and include the invoice reference.

Billing questions

Contact support@portlark.com with your account email and, if relevant, the invoice number. Never send card numbers or other payment details by email.
